source shines clear in the light; Grasping at things is surely delusion; according with sameness is still not enlightenment. All the objects of the senses Interacting
brings involvement. Sights vary in
quality and form, Refined and
common speech come together in the dark, The four elements return to their natures Fire heats, wind moves, Eye and sights, ear and sounds, Thus with each and every thing, Trunk and branches share the essence; In the light there is darkness, In the dark there is light, Light and dark oppose one another Each of the myriad things has its merit, Phenomena exist; box and lid fit. Hearing the words, understand the
meaning; If you don't understand
the Way right before you, Progress
is not a matter of far or near, I respectfully urge you who study the mystery, By
