Reflections
Haiku by Stephen Colgan the plum tree's effort
to put forth its frail blossoms sets spring in motion
workmen in the park leave dark scars in the green grass they know
it grows back
in the rainy months blades of new green grass sprout up wherever
they can
ravens in treetops comment on me as I pass untranslatable
way out on the pier some men talk loudly of fish the fish ignore
them
squinting at the sun from beneath my umbrella- the forecast said
rain
